Inside the apartment, you will find a well equipped open plan living, kitchen and dining area, perfect for preparing a delicious meal for you and your guests or enjoying a relaxing evening in front of the TV. You can even step out onto your own private terrace, perfect if you prefer to eat your meals and relax in the sunshine while admiring the sea view.

With communal gardens and a path leading down to Fishcombe Cove, you may never feel the need to venture further afield. For those who do want to explore a little more, Brixham is just a 15 minute walk away with a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants for those days where you don’t fancy cooking. Be sure to sample some of the fresh fish and seafood that this charming town is famous for!

Short breaks of 2 nights or more are available most of the year except the 5 peak summer holiday weeks.

Damage Deposit - your card will be pre-authorised for a £100 security deposit when you pay your balance. This authorisation is released within 7 days of departure.

Stunning location,lovely 15 minute walk into Brixham,with plenty of other beautiful coastal walks leading to hidden coves. The accomodation was clean and well equipped with everything you would need while on holiday. The main bedroom was a bit small making it a bit difficult to walk around the bed. The outside decking area was a little tired,but was a good size with a fantastic view of the cove. Overall I would recommend Curlew 5 to friends as a great place for a relaxing break.

When we arrived we were greeted by a tired and damaged front gate to the apartment. It had no latch and swung open continuously with the wind with a clatter as the latch hadn't been repaired. The decked terrace was tired looking and the sun loungers were damaged also. The cleaners aren't responsible for the BBQ cleanliness according to their welcome brochure and this was also used with food remains on the grill and in the BBQ base, we didn't want to use it as everything about the BBQ including its cover was greasy and dirty.. tell me why we should be responsible for cleaning it if someone else has left it as described..? The pictures make the apartment look a lot larger than in the pics, the master bedroom is a tight squeeze with two people in there and the kids room equally, but its for sleeping so not so bothered, however the drawers fell apart the moment we opened them as it was once again 'tired' Ikea furniture which was ready to collapse. The sofa had bits of food under the edges of its base, the microwave in the kitchen hadn't been cleaned inside, with food remains inside the door and on the glass rotating base, and there were no dishwasher tablets available as described in the itinerary. The wifi was a joke, my son could just about watch you tube in the evenings, but it would lag regularly when he was relaxing in the small living area.. we all struggled with phone signal for some reason even though it showed good signal strength. We made Brixham holidays aware of the issues mentioned above and they did their best to fix some of the problems but not all as they had to check with the owners of the apartment before hand.. for the money id say the accommodation is below average, and when you bear in mind the owners would've had months to bring the place up to a good standard during the lockdown periods, its really not good enough in my opinion. The surrounding area is great, that I would give praise to, but thumbs down to the apartment and its tired presentation.
Fantastic 1 week stay at Curlew 5

We stayed as a family of 3 (with a small toddler) for a week and found Curlew 5 to be perfect for us, small and cosy but more than enough room for a family our size. The apartment is set in a very peaceful and quiet security gated complex, we felt very safe throughout our stay. Views out to sea are superb and there is a nice big balcony to sit out on of an evening. Kitchen is compact and well equipped. The walk into brixham is about 15 mins but be aware it is a very steep walk there and back, just something to note if you have a pushchair like we did. We will come to Brixham again and would happily stop at Curlew 5 or any other apartments at the Cove.

The Cove development is located just above Fishcombe Cove in Brixham next to the South West Coastal Path. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk through National Trust woodland to the pretty fishing harbour of Brixham.
