Stunning harbour & sea views from the roof top BBQ terrace of this 3 bed apartment with additional balcony off lounge & parking for 2 cars
Enjoy panoramic views over Brixham Harbour and out to sea from the spectacular top floor sun lounge and deck with dual aspect bi-folding doors.

Upper Anzac is one of three properties at Anzac House - full of character and nestled in the pretty fishing town of Brixham.

Upper Anzac occupies the top three floors on the right of Anzac House. Crowned with an incredible sun room and roof terrace on the top floor that offers amazing views of the inner harbour and across the bay. Open the bi-folding doors and sit back in the sun lounge or on the terrace and enjoy the view while cooking your evening meal on the gas barbecue. Or during winter, keep the doors shut and watch the storms roll in from the warmth of the sun room.

Throughout the apartment, you’ll find high quality furnishings as well as all mod cons including TVs with DVD players in all the bedrooms.

Brixham town centre and harbour are a 5 minute walk downhill, or via a set of 112 steps, where you’ll find many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops dotted along the waterfront. You can spend the day wandering around the bustling harbour where you can buy traditional souvenirs or stop and have a drink in one of the many cafes and pubs. Take a leisurely 15 minute stroll to Breakwater Beach or take a ferry to Paignton, Torquay or Dartmouth where you’ll find glorious sandy beaches and family attractions.

The TV's are set to receive Freeview and the lounge TV is a Smart TV that also has Netflix, Amazon etc built-in.

Anzac, Upper Anzac and Lower Anzac can be booked together to create a fantastic place for a family gathering or a reunion with friends. All three properties have interlocking doors to allow you to create and 'mix and match' your own private space.

Save 10% on stays if booked with both Anzac and Lower Anzac, sleeping up to 15 guests.

Short breaks from 2 nights available most of the year except for the peak summer holidays when stays are weekly only, Saturday to Saturday.

Fabulous views but some areas of improvement necessary.

Fabulous views and plenty of space. Unfortunately we were disappointed that the bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drains and that there wasn’t a second bathroom as the advertising suggested only a small cloakroom/utility room. The locked interconnecting doors to the other apartments need to be sound proofed as you could clearly hear the conversation of other guests.

Overall we were happy with this property. The main positives are that its got a great view the upper floor balcony and its very centrally located to the town centre amenities, although I wouldn't recommend it to anybody with mobility issues as the steps down to the town centre are very steep. The property could do with a bit of an overhaul in respect to cleaning of outdoor areas and windows, plus there seems to be a ventilation issue in the bathroom which is causing damp stains, Also as mentioned by another reviewer the main cooker only worked for the first day and no instructions are available to get it working.

Had a lovely stay at Upper Anzac. Kitchen had everything you needed, plenty of glasses and plates. The view from the roof terrace was lovely, we enjoyed an early evening tipple it two up there. Distance from town is not far at all but lots of steps, keeps the heart rate up. Brixham holidays and the housekeeper were brilliant when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Thanks for a lovely holiday
Fantastic views, great location, good parking, light, spacious, comfortable, well equipped.

We enjoyed our holiday, especially the fantastic view of the town, harbour and sea. Spent most of our time on the roof terrace, a real treat whatever the weather. Plenty to see and do within walking distance, great to leave the car and avoid negotiating narrow roads.

A fantastic place with great views looking out to Brixham. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who struggles with walking as set up high up a hill and lots of steps if walking from the town. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the place let it down for us. Bathroom was black with mildew including the bath itself and back of sofa was covered in crumbs and hairs. Had to buy own products to clean before use. Shame when we had spent £1500 for one week to have to start cleaning ourselves.

Located above the town with access via steps - just a few minutes walk away from the local shops, cafes and restaurants.

There are many local attractions nearby including:
National Trust properties – Greenways (Agatha Christie) and Coleton Fishacre (D’Oyly Carte Family home)
Berry Head Nature Reserve
Churston Cove
Bigbury and Burgh Island
Dartmouth Ferry and Steam Train
Ferry from Brixham to Torquay

Slightly further afield are the very popular towns and villages of Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Dartmouth and Salcombe, all of which have something very special to offer.
Visit Torquay on the Western Lady ferry or take the 'Round Robin' trip of the bay. Starting in Paignton, visiting Dartmouth and Totnes via steam train, river boat and bus – a fabulous way to enjoy these special places without having to worry about traffic, parking or anything bar relaxing and enjoying yourself.
However, if a day building sandcastles on the beach sounds more appealing, the extremely popular sandy beach of Broadsands is a short car journey away.
For the little ones, you have Paignton Zoo, River Dart Country Park, Pennywell Farm and Woodlands Family Theme Park within easy reach, all guaranteed to provide that fun-packed day out for all ages.
